Medical Equipments
an important role in the field of medical devices . We integrate advanced manufacturing technologies such as CNC machining, 3D printing, vacuum molding, rapid tooling, sheet metal production, die casting and surface treatment to provide professional support for the entire process of medical devices from concept design to mass production. The medical device industry has extremely high requirements for product accuracy, reliability and biocompatibility, which is consistent with EAZ Model’s technical expertise. Our services cover all stages of medical device development, from initial prototype production to small batch trial production to large-scale production, and we can provide solutions that meet medical industry standards.
Application of core technology services in medical equipment manufacturing
1. CNC machining: the cornerstone of precision medical components
CNC machining plays an irreplaceable role in medical device manufacturing, especially for metal parts that require extremely high precision. Our five-axis CNC machines are capable of processing materials such as titanium alloys, stainless steel, and medical-grade aluminum alloys to meet the stringent requirements of implants and surgical instruments.
2. 3D printing: rapid realization of complex structures
Many innovative designs in medical devices involve complex internal structures that are difficult to achieve with traditional manufacturing methods. Our industrial-grade 3D printing technologies (including SLS, SLA, and DLP) can quickly produce parts with complex geometries, greatly shortening the development cycle.
3. Vacuum molding: ideal for small batch trial production
When medical devices need to be produced in small batches for clinical testing, vacuum molding provides a cost-effective solution. We use medical-grade silicone molds to ensure the safety and functionality of pilot parts. EAZ Model produced 50 sets of pilot samples for a new insulin pump housing, using vacuum molding technology. The cost per piece is only 1/5 of injection molding, and the mechanical properties and appearance quality are consistent with the final product, and it has successfully passed the preliminary biocompatibility test.
4. Rapid Tooling: Accelerate product launch
Medical devices face enormous time pressure from design to market. Our rapid aluminum mold and soft steel mold technology can provide production-level molds within 2-4 weeks, which is more than 60% faster than traditional steel molds.
5. Sheet metal production: medical equipment housing and support structure
The housing, bracket and chassis of medical equipment are mostly made of sheet metal . Our precision sheet metal processing capabilities can process various metal sheets from 0.1mm to 6mm to meet the mechanical strength and electromagnetic shielding requirements of different equipment.
6. Die casting: mass production of highly complex metal parts
For metal parts that need to be produced in large quantities, such as surgical instrument handles and medical device bases, we provide zinc, aluminum and magnesium alloy die casting services to ensure high consistency and cost-effectiveness.
7. Surface treatment: dual guarantee of function and aesthetics
The surface treatment of medical devices is not only about aesthetics, but also affects functionality and safety. We provide services such as anodizing, passivation, sandblasting, polishing and special coatings to meet the needs of different application scenarios.
As medical technology is changing with each passing day, EAZ Model will continue to invest in the research and development and application of advanced manufacturing technology to provide faster, more precise and more reliable manufacturing solutions for the medical device industry. We understand the importance of medical products to the life and health of patients, so we put quality control and compliance first to ensure that every delivered component meets the strict requirements of medical applications.
